Clean Vehicle Solutions has been in the automotive industry for 60 years operating as premier coach builder, Empire Coachworks International, LLC. In April of 2007, soon after moving into its brand new 88,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility (the largest CNG plant in the U.S.), Empire was acquired by the Vergopia family and renamed Clean Vehicle Solutions, LLC. The vision for the new Empire was simple; expand the diversity of products, open greater avenues of distribution and GO GREEN.

At this moment, Clean Vehicle Solutions installs, services and distributes a wide range of EPA and CARB approved CNG systems . Vehicle models include Ford vans, Lincoln Town Cars, the compact Focus, as well as various GM, International, and Cummins vehicles. The conversion of these vehicles allows Empire to deliver cutting-edge solutions across the commercial vehicle sector including to the livery and taxi industry, municipal governments including police departments, ambulance and other handicapped transportation services, as well as a broad range of applications that use cutaway buses. Such vehicles are typically under heavy daily use and produce high amounts of carbon emissions. The use of CNG substantially reduces carbon (20% to 30% less), cleans the air with 90%+ less smog-forming pollutants, and generates a gallon-for-gallon reduction of our dependence on foreign oil.
